This year, we’re all about MythBusting. University social life is dominated by false facts, prejudices, and unjustified assumptions. The Alternative is the norm, it just isn’t perceived as it.

If actions speak louder than words, then the studies show that we as a university are dissatisfied with the drinking and hookup culture on campus. We want real relationships and meaningful interactions, but our social scene is dominated by superficial pregames and meaningless sex. Let’s change this.

Our posters this year are meant not only to promote the Alternative’s vision of a new campus norm, but also to get people thinking. Students, especially freshmen, should be free to make their own decisions, especially when it comes to their social lives. But this means having access to all the facts. Thankfully, we are—like Dwight—if not painfully obtuse, at least all too happy to share.

New Website!

We’ve finally gotten around to getting an official Princeton student organization WordPress site and we hope you like it!
